    I think it’s a chair, there’s a book rack underneath it. We had those in my school, there was no “desk” under the writing surface. They thought it cut down on cheating.

    The kids in Calvin’s class are dull and unimaginative – it’s individuallic kids like Calvin who grow up to make discoveries on and above the barriers of mankind’s knowledge.

    Chair. That tiny triangle on the edge of the panel is a corner of the back. I love Watterson’s attention to small details like this.
