Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Again, Calvin takes some amazing tests. No six-year-old I ever knew would know about the Battle of Lexington, Trotsky or the cotton gin.

Does this mean he gets to take the test again?

@bluskies
That’s a good possibility.

Trouble is, the questions are probably not asking for what he wrote. I’d guess he got them all wrong…
.
Things like:
.
When did Saladin fight the battle of Yorktown? 1492
.
What military disaster was fought in the Khyber Pass by Napoleon III? The battle of Lexington.
.
What is the common name for dysentery? Trotsky.
.
What do British guards on duty drink? Cotton gin.
.
(I had fun with the nutty questions. A local high school was busted for teaching students an “alternate” history of WWII, and so the questions are probably dumb enough to find in that school. Where was Winston Churchill on the night of February 30th, 2004, type of thing.)

I foresee years of therapy following this incident—but for Calvin or for Mrs. Wormwood?
