Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

This is the first comic strip I’ve read online, but I’ve a question to you fans.
I’ve read Calvin and Hobbes books before, so am I correct in saying that these are reruns? ( I don’t know much about Billl Waterson, so don’t blame me if I sound…y’know)

Is Hobbes reacting seriously here or sarcastically?

First and Foremost…Welcome! You are correct that these are Reprints of existing Calvin and Hobbes strips. The Web has several very informative articles on Bill Watterson (Who looks Suspiciously like Calvins Dad IMO..) so, Enjoy…Again. :-)

Can Calvin do this? With his qualification in school?

I believe Watterson retired the strip in ‘95. He didn’t want it to get stale.

Basically, Watterson said what he had to say, so he stopped talking. Gotta admire that, in this day and age.

Meanwhile at Stately Wayne Manor, millionaire Bruce Wayne who is secretly Batman … is going through his taxes before the Evil Tax Man comes calling…
ROBIN: Holy Dollar Bills, Batman! You sure have a lot of money!
BATMAN: That’s right, chum.
ROBIN: Can I have a raise in my allowance?
BATMAN: No time for that now, Robin! We have to stop the Evil Tax Man!

Plus Calvin going through puberty was a pretty sinister thought . . .
I see him now . . . at the top of a church spire . . . a Kalashnikov gripped in his sweaty teenage hands . . . a giant tiger pointing out targets . . .
