Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Don’t start Calvin. It’s harder to stop using them once you learn them. None of them mean anything good.

You should never vote for a tax levy these days.

Don’t worry, Calvin, you’ll learn them all in time. That’s a certainty.

Don’t be a fool Calvin. Libraries are a great investment of your tax dollars. Of course that is if your smart enough
to use them. Books, newspapers, magazines, DVD’s, CD’s etc. etc. etc..

By the time Calvin is old enough to vote, libraries will have gone the way of the dinosaur!
BTW, swearing can be a great catharsis—providing the curse words are not aimed at anyone within earshot.

Just keep acting the way you do, and you’re bound to hear your parents use them eventually.

@rogue53
Calvin, most such words are onomatopoeic and therefore phonetic (there are two more big words for your impressive vocabulary). But I’m with rogue53, those comprise a habit not at all worth starting.
Interesting how a strip like this tells far more about the reader than about Calvin. And what’s being told about some of our readers disturbs me.
