Him and another MAD magazine cartoonist did a number of Christmas specials. I think the first one was “The night before Christmas”.

The other MAD cartoonist you’re thinking of is Paul Coker Jr.

I approve of Tim’s choice of Scrooge. Alastair Sim is the best.

Who are the first and last characters? Is the first one Mr. Potter?

Yeah, the first is Mr. Potter, but I don’t know who the last one is either.

Not counting Dr. Mel, who are numbers 2, 5, and 6?

No, Alpha, #6 is not Tim Rickard (or am I stepping on a joke I don’t recognize?)

    No Jack Skellington?

Ah, “Red and Rover” gave me a clue. #5 (aka the Yeti) is Bumble, the Abominable Snowman from the 1964 TV special “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”. So, #2 and 6 anyone?

I think it’s Mr. Potter, Prof. Hinkle, Scrooge, Dr. Mel, Grinch, Bumble (from Rudolph) and a communist.
