ExtortionStarter is a great site. At every level you have to pay more money or they release your personal data.

Winky: Actually, I think I can extort money from you.
    Dr. Mel: How?
Winky: By sharing your search history with everyone else.
    Dr. Mel: You fiend!

    re: BZ

hehe. That would end Dr. Mel’s exploits for good. And since Winky recurs after each disaster, Dr. Mel can’t do anything to him that will last.

I know a guy named Gru who recommends a financier named Mr. Perkins for funding projects like this.

    (Yeah, I know a guy who knows a guy…)

Sorry, Dr. Mel, but you’re not well enough known or successful enough to get funded on Kickstarter. Despite the hype about how KS is there to fund risky, experimental projects by unknowns, it seems the successful campaigns are more and more established writers, cartoonists, etc., doing pre-release marketing for the next book, short film, podcast season, etc. Heck, two of the NPR shows I listen to regularly are now using Kickstarter as a replacement for their seasonal beg-a-thon.

    re: Beer Here

You were the only one to mention politics, were you not? Besides which, wasn’t the election on November 6 of last year, considerably more than a few weeks? Most states don’t hold general elections except every two years.

As I recall, there was an election a couple of weeks ago, and the good guys won.

perhaps, but it wasn’t a US National election, which is held on even numbered years.
