Meet Aaron McGruder’s The Boondocks: Huey and Riley Freeman, Jazmine DuBois, and Huey’s best friend, Caesar. This comic strip reflects the racial diversity and complexity of our world. Combining Huey’s childish antics with contemporary political and social satire, the strip explores the terrain where dashikis and Brand Nubian CDs meet The Gap and Hanson.

That would depend on exactly how old granddad is? If he’s old enough, he may be correct! Before, say 1940 or so, black men were NOT allowed to be taught CPR. Why? What white person in the pre-40’s would want a black man (or woman) giving them CPR (maybe even mouth-to-mouth? resuscitation)? None, the how many. Just sayin.

They had a separate blood supply because even the blood though red was still segregated so that stupid white folk may die but they would be clean of non-white’s blood.

There was an episode of “The Jeffersons” that dealt with this very subject. Very powerful.

Indeed. I watched all those shows from the Jeffersons to All in the Family.

I don’t know, part of me wants to believe it but its Granddad we’re talking about and I’ve known him long enough to know that not “everything” that comes out of his mouth is true…I’m at odds
