A lazy strip. The sign belongs on a desk, not in the wilderness. It would be improved (and even worth at least a smile) if the animal had encountered it after wandering into an office (perhaps in a cave somewhere) where such a sign was on someone’s desk.

    sign?
or was that a pun which passed me by?
    -
regardless, sometimes it is a false sign.

And what is the first cosine of madness? Or maybe the first tangent of madness?

The statement should have been, “Math puns are the first sine of madness.” A sine is a trig operation.
