    Oh boy, Oopsters!

Wonder who’s gonna cave in first, Guz or Wizer?

I can’t wait to how this goes!

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 18 “The Everlasting Man-thing”(36) 4/17/2013 Wednesday

    Panel One

Standing before a blasted heath in the center of a dense jungle on a resort Pacific island where Alley Oop, time traveling cave man, has found himself for an impromptu vacation. Two female members of the global organization called Challengers of the Unknown, are there to trap a fantastic beast. A creature of all forms and no forms. One that is ageless and unkillable which they call it “Baldander.”

    Panel Two

Both of the Challengers are female, one Jinx is a polymath scientist, the other a sorceress named Corinne. They have been sent to capture the creature and move it to a specially fortified island called “M” to keep it away from harm and for long term study for the world’s scientists. The island will be flagged by the New United Nations, but under the leadership of the CofU.

    Panel Three

“Let’s go,” Alley says, feeling a chill in the mid day heat being around that nine foot statue. It feels alive to him, like it knows he is near it. The ladies agree to go and they move on.

Well, considering what Wizer’s been doing the last six [years] as a friend, I don’t see we have an improvement here…

With friends like that, who needs enemies?

Good morning Benders and all. Enough already. The time machine isn’t broken anymore so let’s have a time travel story.

A sunny spring morning greeting to the Benders and the
readers of Alley Oop. Until we hear from Doc Wonmug the
time machine is still broken . Wizer is sounding more and more like a certain northern Asian nation’s ruler. Threats
always threats until he is treated with respect and without
accountability for his actions. For Guz the credibility of his
powers as King is on view of all the citizens of Moo. The
guard has called it treason. One of the definitions of
treason is the betrayal of trust. Wizer in his elevated
position did this, so it’s up to Guz to decide what the
ultimate punishment is. The pits are always seen as a
    short term punishment solution.

The pit would give a reasonable man time to consider what his position is right now. Right now, Wizer is in a hole, being punished for having threatened Moo with a stampede of dinosaurs. Wizer is NOT a reasonable man, though, so now he’s threatening the king with worse to come.
    *********
History lesson: Back in that time, kings had absolute power. All Guz has to do is issue the command, and his bodyguard will remove Wizer’s head from his neck. Right about now would be a good time for Wizer to start backing down.
