Panel One
Monster X is the basis for many mythological creatures of the ancient past from ruhks to manitcores and even a god—Proteus. Some want to call it a “Baldander” after another protean creature that has aspects of all earth life with in it.¶ (Its DNA is the densest ever found.)
Panel Two
Alley looked through some brochures and on the Internet to see what he can find. He has money from his work for the military through Doc Wonmug so he can pay his own way. There are some islands on the equator that might be interesting.
Panel Three
Because of the energy that is within it, it is immune to the mutagenic effects of the energy waves that bathe the earth and alter life every few hundred million years as what did away with the dinosaurs from Alley Oop’s time or so the prevailing hypothesis goes.¶ - ¶In Alley’s world humans lived with dinosaurs before they abruptly disappeared and were replaced by the mega-mammals they transmuted into. Who knows what the next wave will do to earth life—-including humans.
Good morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. Rugbouncies to Oopsters everywhere! The story is over but the Benders haven’t figured that out yet so we will carry on for a few more days. Guz’ reaction doesn’t make a lot of sense but he’s been pretty clueless lately. Dinosaurs have always attacked in this strip so he shouldn’t blame it on Alley.
Spring has finally arrived Best wishes on the Vernal Equinox to the Benders and the readers of Alley Oop. Finally Guz’s being clueless to current events has popped out of his mouth, in effect, blaming Alley for the actions of the dinos. No good ever comes from, ‘Good job but’. It’ll take in Alley time about 2 weeks to finally dig out Wizers actions but it will be worth looking forward to. Look for Alley to wax hot Guz to run stupid, Wizer to play dumb, with Ooola and perhaps Umpa getting things settled. back in 24.
