Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(6) 2/6/2013
Panel One
Alley is ready to go back to Moo. He tells his good friend Dr. Wonmug he is using the recaller Wonmug gave him to return to his own time for some rest and to see Ooola, his girl friend.
Panel Two
The Doc makes sure to come see Alley off as does Dexter, Lavainge and General Mann too.
Panel Three
The three men shake Alley’s huge calloused hand, Lavainge comes up and gives the big bruiser a peck on his rough haired cheek. Was Alley blushing?
Panel Four
He gives a big smile holds up his left hand to say good by then pushes the button and flashes out of their time.
Well, why wouldn’t Dinny also be affected by Wizer’s “happy smoke”? If the smoke affects all the Dinos shown so far, it will affect Dinny as well. Of course, I’m allowing fact to interfere with a good story, aren’t I?
Like everyone else in this strip, regardless of time or place, the dinos clearly understand English, but . . . why don’t they say something? Not a word out of ‘em. C’mon! This is Alley Oop, so you can do it! Use your words.
Good morning Benders and all. What a great story about the harmful effects of using drugs! But I’m not sure the Wizer has thought this through. It’s a good idea that he picked the small dinosaurs, the ones that are barely bigger than he is.
A sunny winter day greeting to the Benders and all. Wizer’s instructions to the befuddled dinos reminds me of the time I went to a multi-level sales intro meeting. The guy kept saying listen to follow your group leader Repeat what he says. Do what he does. Learn the technique. Trouble with the Wizer’s plan, there is no down line just Master and slave.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.

I don’t know HOW you figure these huge dinosaurs are “barely bigger than he (Wizer) is” … their heads are the size of Wizer’s entire body.
