Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(7) 2/7/2013
Panel One
Alley is ready to go back to Moo. He tells his good friend Dr. Wonmug he is using the recaller Wonmug gave him to return to his own time for some rest and to see Ooola, his girl friend.
Panel Two
The Doc makes sure to come see Alley off as does Dexter, Lavainge and General Mann too.
Panel Three
The three men shake Alley’s large calloused hand, Lavainge comes up and gives the big bruiser a peck on his rough haired cheek. Was Alley blushing?
Panel Four
He gives a big smile holds up his left hand to say good by then pushes the button with his right and flashes out of their time.
I think the magic word “Alley Oop” should have been used to turn the dinos on and off. Then when someone says “Hi Alley Oop” they stampede, then "oh Ally Oop what is happening " then they stop. Where is the humor of snapping a finger to turn them on.
Yeah, I wondered how Wizer tells them exactly What to attack…heck, they could just as well attack each other (or Wizer!), with a generic command like that!
Good Morning Benders and all. I find it interesting that the Wizer never suggested this defense when King Tuk invaded from Lem. He saved this gem of sorcery for his own people. He has invented the first flash mob.
All this because Wizer felt he hadn’t been invited to a spontaneous party where all he had to do was join in. It didn’t appear that anyone else was “invited” either. Much ado about nothing if you ask me. Lame premise for a story. A shame too as there are so many good story lines that have been left unfinished.
Good morning Benders and all! It’s exciting to see the action unfold and the dinos in action. I wonder what kind is the small one that’s running in the sky. I guess he’s going so fast that he’s lifted off. Still, a great story.
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
