Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(5) 2/5/2013
Panel One
Back at the Greenlight C and C, the next morning Lavainge was speaking excitedly to Dexter about her adventure on Earth 2. He took some notes as she talked quickly to him about it, and the incredible power of the “Hairy Dinosaurs.”
Panel Two
Dexter Jones pushes up his glasses and tells Lavainge about how they can’t input the coordinates to Earth 2, it seems to be permanently locked out. He thinks the big brass are planning to go to that wild world that Alley Oop and Lola had been trapped on. Even so from the reports it is in its mega fauna prehistoric times only worse in some ways than any of Earth’s previous eras.
Panel Three
The red-eyed trio appear at the Museum where Alley and company had interviewed the director, Ms Sims and her burly security chief and found the six murdered guards.The humanoid one wretches the doors open shattering the lock and denting the metal even as some of the tempered glass webbed in stress fracture lines. The other two followed behind after looking around. Most of the lights are off except for some low indirect lights leaving it mostly dim.
Panel Four
Silent alarms go off, and the Security Chief Bolan is awakened. He had been in the security cubby hole every night since the break in. He carries a blued .44 auto magnum with hollow points. He wanted illegal black talons but couldn’t locate a source. “No one is going to rob his museum twice!” He said under his breath as he went to get the intruders.
Good Morning Benders and all. WIzer’s putting the who-do on the dinosaurs. I still thing that he is using telepathy to communicate with the brain numbed dinosaurs. He both says it and thinks it in his mind.
The Wizer has done his best at hypnotizing the haters to return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear. That didn’t work out as planned either!
crispyB: hey, was that “college days” OR “college daze” … sounds like a frat kind of thing if I remember back that far ! That potion must have a hefty slug of Maui wowee in it to cool the heels of those brute animals… what happens if they suddenly get the munchies… ok for the herbivores but mooville better watch out of the carnivores !!
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
