Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 17 “Deader Than Dead”(4) 2/4/2013
Panel One
Alley was very grateful that the Mokele-Mbembe were kind enough to put their items with them so he got his fighting club back just as the Gray Omega got their Land Master back. He picks up a newspaper and scores through it like he did once before and saw something that attracted his notice in the back pages. It read, “Reports of vampire attacks all over the European Union! Are they real?”
Panel Two
A flash of purple lightening and three beings just appeared inside the walled off environs of the Tesla Matrix Corporation in Thailand, a large heavy set man and two lean quick two-legged animals. They all have red eyes that seem to glow in the dimness. The two large animals lean forward, balanced by a tail and their heads dart around similar to a birds sniffing the ground also like dogs.
Panel Three
They all swiftly and quietly moved avoiding the pools of light to reach the loading dock. All is quite, just the wind rustling the leaves all around with the occasional monkey call in the night.
Panel Four
For the three intruders they can discern the smells of the past people being there. They all three have enhanced olfactory senses due to the vampire traits they were given by Dr. Dark. They locate the scent of their primary target—-Alley Oop. Then they leave the way they came via lightening transference.
I do appreciate the Benders spending a little time to give us two new panels, not an exact replica of yesterday. - Wizer hadn’t planned on anyone seeing his handy work till he was ready. I wish Alley would have come back to Moo and found Wizer already in control. Would have been more interesting I think.
What it needs is for Wiz’s plans to be foiled with a little humor – like Wiz’s potion turns all of the dinos into lovers, not fighters – and they are all now too happy to go around acting like menaces. Or the T-Rex decides that what he really wants is to become Wiz’s lap dog.
Good morning Benders and all. Too bad today’s repeat didn’t happen on Feb 2 – Groundhog’s Day. Jack’s extra effort shines through – a purple dinosaur with yellow spots. Cute!
Good Morning Benders and all. Wizer is displaying his warped powers and Foozy immediately takes a hike. He doesn’t want to know what the Wizer is doing or why.
NGaunt: I believe “lightening” means to lighten the weight of something…. and in your text I think you were referring to an aerial spark that is LIGHTNING.
Yes, I missed that last night darn it! But I have corrected the original. Thanx for alerting me to the error. (I do know the difference, but spell check can’t aid me there.)
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.

Wizer hadn’t planned on anyone seeing his handy work till he was ready. I wish Alley would have come back to Moo and found Wizer already in control. Would have been more interesting I think.
