A new line of animals interfaced with technology. Out doing the earlier models of natural flies, roaches and bees being used to carry equipment, now Avenger is among the first gene engineered test beds for that spy technology. She is brilliant.

Oscar is watching as is the interlink with the command station on the Land Master. He has direct control unless Lavainge wants to override him if necessary.
Good New Years Day to the Benders and all. I figure the wizard is grumpy because he wasn’t offered a ball. Moo, because of the cross-contamination with the present no doubt has knowledge of Christmas and New Years. Ancient cultures end of the year would be the winter solstice that Alley and the gang survived. Proclaiming new years day with a offering of gifts is a great way to start off the year. One other thing The Chinese calender predates the Roman calender by many centuries It is believed to have been introduced by Emperor Huangdi (or Huang Ti) at some stage around 2600 to 3000 years BCE. According to legend, the emperor invented the calendar in 2637 BCE. The Chinese new year falls between the winter solstice and the march equinox.
Some ancient cultures celebrated the new year with the Vernal equinox. But The celebration in the strip is to co-incide with our new year. Oop knows our history. So… could he not have convinced King Guzzle to adopt our calender as the Moovian calendar also?
Alley Oop is the classic caveman comic strip revolving around the irrepressible Alley Oop, who travels from prehistoric Moo all the way to the 21st century in his friend Doc Wonmug's time machine.
