Agnes is sort of naturally “emo” … “bad” is a stretch, but she might make it.

In spite of her mother’s probable efforts to jazz her up, Trout has a longer way to go.

Maybe she could get as bad as “late for school”… but I’m not sure.

It’s a stretch, Agnes. But go for it. Just be careful with the rivet gun.

Reminds me of what the Fonz said to Richie about being tough. You can’t fake it.

A little confidence and a lot of bravo will go a long ways.

I’m just not sure if we should know why Trout’s mom needs a rivet gun.

    She may be a riveter.

Do you ever find yourself wanting to meet Trout’s mother, simply as a fascinating example of the extremes of human behavior?
