Here in Los Angeles, when it rains, it is the first thing on the news.

Here in Calgary we had quite enough rain … and one of the most disastrous floods our city… and Southern Alberta, have ever experienced.
Fortunately, where I live .. and work … were both high enough to be unaffected.
Many others … weren’t so lucky.

Edmontonions are donating to aid disaster relief south of us. Our river was high and we had some heavy rain, but it was nothing compared to what happened down there.

It’s coming! Same prediction and high humidity here in Michigan, followed by five inches of rain in a couple of hours. Duck!

It is sunny every day. Just sometimes clouds separate us from that fact.

You are SO right! We forget that. I’m forgetting that today while listening to the thunder and seeing the lightening.

They do that in Ohio too but we did have a pretty bad storm Tuesday night. Power outages and trees down all over the place.

the joys of summer vacation….. if you just want to lie there, enjoying the quiet….. you can. If it rains. Or gets windy… you will hear it.

Here in Norfolk, VA we get the same forecast from June through the middle of September. Hazy, hot and humid with a chance of afternoon and evening thundershowers. It only changes if there’s a hurricane headed this way.
