Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

@Lovecraft. You beat me to it. I was thinking Bob’s father. Love Agnes’ “Blueberry”. Never a dropoff from delusion.

Dogs are not “stuffed in cages” at the vets. They have both an indoor and an outdoor run. Only puppy mills stuff animals in cages.

Her Blueberry must not be working properly. There’s no sign of that dog in July… 2012, anyway.
