Tony Cochran’s Agnes is a whimsical look at childhood through the eyes of the title character and her best friend, Trout. What sets this strip apart is the focus on that limbo just before little girls discover boys and appropriate social skills.

Someone (forget who) once observed that for every complex problem there is a simple solution. And that that solution is wrong.

Well funding all those life extension research and to empower the immune system I’d be for it. But for each one getting longevity they cannot have children.

“But for each one getting longevity they cannot have children.”

So let someone live a thousand years but have no children or live a hundred years and have ten children? The second option would overpopulate the country, the first option would lead to the end of all human life in a thousand years.
-
Consider the fact that most people don’t want ten children and that many who do have children do so because they know they only have a short time to live and be fertile. If you assume you have centuries to get around to having children, you might not have as many.
-
Definitely find a way such that nobody gets pregnant unless both parties wish it to be so. That would help greatly.
