We only laugh at you when you’re not wearing pants!

No worries, Ziggy. When you’re a comic character it’s endearing either way.

Poor Ziggy. Ziggy lost a finger on each hand! As you may know Ziggy is more than a comic character since he always had four fingers on his hand whereas all other comic characters only have three fingers on their hand. (Of course not counting dog, cat, or mice comic characters.)

A plague of fourth wall jokes

Looks like the shrink just realised he a comic character too.

The Joker knows that he is a comic book character as well.

I’m laughing AT you Ziggy, because I’m filled with confidence knowing that I’m not you. Wait, where are my pants?!

Ziggy you could just ask us. We will tell you. We some times laugh with you, but most of the time, we laugh at you! Just go with it, you are a Comic Character after all.

We’re not laughing at you, specifically, Zig. We’re laughing at those parts of ourselves that we see in you. (Well, sometimes at the way you express yourself, which I think counts as “with” you.)
