Molon Labe: I don’t know where you get that big lie (I have seen it before), but by 1936, unemployment was reduced to half that of 1934 (and then they eased off the programs, causing a double dip which wasn’t reversed until 1938). I know where I get mine (Department of Commerce figures and the Rayburn Library in Bonham – less than a mile from my house) plus the fact that I was alive then. Where were you?
