When Israel is as large and as populous as America, this may have some backbone. As it is, it’s a case of I’m not going to tell my neighbor he’s doing it wrong when it seems to work for them.
Romney has said all along - even as he was signing the law on Beacon Hill - that the Mass. health plan is tailored to Mass. and will not work anywhere else. There is such wide disparity among the states WRT demographics, per-capita income, geography, health care infrastructure, etc. There’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all. There needs to be limited federal input designed to REDUCE COSTS, and then allow states to tailor their own plans according to their own needs.
