I don’t understand how a pictorial opinion can be any more problematic than a similar written one.
The NYT decision to drop all editorial cartoons rather than just a particular one makes the same sort of “sense” as, “I was robbed by a white man; therefore we should imprison all white men.”
Rancid, racist, and bigoted right-wing cartoonists bent on carrying on empty conservative declarations is what has caused the negative effect for all cartoonists. How long do conservatives think they can obfuscate and misdirect away from actual ideological substance?
It is the political cartoonists who are seeing me through this administration. They will never know how grateful I am for the TRUTH and sarcasm that is so very welcomed.

To misquote a certain news outlet’s motto: Stupidity dies in the Light of Reason".
