I think I can understand Norm. In my first marriage, we had five pregnancies and only got two souvenirs (numbers 3 and 5). But we got the best ones, no doubt about it.
I feel so bad for the pain they’re both experiencing. But I also find a lot of comfort in knowing that there are children in their future. (And lovely daddy-child relationships!) It makes me wonder what things that feel so painful now in our real lives will someday be a thing of the past that worked out ok.
This is series that the newspaper never ran after the initial Norm (1.0?) series abruptly ended. It sure would have helped bridge to Norm 4.0 when bam! Older Norm with kids!
