Decaf taste is between barley and dishwater.
You’ll find out when it keeps you awake at the office.
He has the right to be pissed off
Ha, ha to all those who say they drink coffee for the taste.
With me, if I drink “regular” coffee, I have no problem falling asleep!! But, one cup of decaf and I’m up all night!! Therefore, I don’t drink decaf … and never will!!
I drink decaf, because I do like the taste of coffee, but really don’t need the caffeine anymore. It’s not really big deal.
If he can’t taste the difference, maybe he needs to get tested for Covid-19.

I’ve been drinking decaf for decades (to help with the blood pressure) and on the rare occasion when I end up with regular I’ve never been able to tell the difference by taste alone. I do, however, notice that the shot of caffeine really jangles the old nerves now (and I’m sure my BP spikes a bit too).
The milk in your coffee is from de calf
My favorite morning brew has always been 2/3 dark roast coffee with 1/3 chicory blended in and medium ground, done in a French press, but, these days I settle for Aspen Ridge coffee house blend in my Keurig.
