SIL was in the Grocery, at the meat counter. Lady in a wheelchair asked the butcher how to cook some salmon she bought. Butcher said he didn’t know, he’d never eaten Salmon. SIL ( graduate of The San Francisco Culinary Institue) said to her.." it’s easy, you put a little water in a pan…whereupon she snapped at him, " take off your mask, you don’t have to wear one anymore." He looked at her, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. When did people get so angry…and entitled. He was just being nice.

SKYWARN® RECOGNITION DAY

MAKE A GIFT DAY. I was planning on making gifts this year, but not today. I always make an extra batch of fudge at Christmas and I divide it up in small containers and give it to family members as gifts. Sometimes I’ll add divinity or sugar cookies too. It depends on what I have time to do. But it’s still too early to make fudge or cookies for Christmas gifts.

I wonder if gumboot is accepted in scrabble?? Poor poor Annie.

Since the gumboots are useless separated, what’s the use of bidding on them? Unless, of course, Oliver wins and makes a present of it to Annie so she has a pair again.

It would be bootless for Annie to ask about her missing property.
