I’d rather sort asbestos than run for public office. Much MUCH less run for President of the US. Possibly even if the sorter job came with inadequate protective gear.

And if the DNC is as Rall draws it, then Much much much less as a Democrat. Which is still more than as a GOPian.

All those positions are more dignified than being Ted Rall.

There’s already several well-spoken moderate candidates who are running strongly so far.

Damn, I thought I might have a shot at a job. I’m certainly undignified but I’m not even close to moderate. Oh well, I’ll just continue being the CUR, short for curmudgeon and/or Cranky Unrepentant Radical. Unfortunately the pay sucks.

Does one suspect a bit of racial profiling with the nature of the jobs offered?

Not yet enough millennials for a Bernie win . . . he had to have known that using the word ‘socialist’ would be a detriment to his cause…

If Bernie becomes the nominee, doofus’s chances of winning improve greatly..

Hmmm, I’d take option 2 even if it meant eating asbestos before I’d take option 3.

Nominating a moderate is like agreeing to play the entire game inside the other team’s 50 yard line. I’d rather nominate someone who will fight for liberal ideas and hope for a few Hail Mary’s than elect someone who has already conceded half the field before the game starts.

It is easy to be hard on Rall for what appears to be his devotion to Bernie, political purism and the inherent flaws of a two party system. But this is the Primaries and Rall is right about what’s happening. the real test of character, including dignity, will be seen in what follows. Just as moderates must support Bernie if he becomes the candidate, Rall too must join in the effort to defeat Trump. Rall’s understandable dislike of Hillary helped to give us Trump. Remember, the key is to encourage voting. No amount of effort on the part of Democrats to defeat Bernie will work if he gets the votes. The same will be true in the general election.

Here’s something to keep in mind; if the Senate doesn’t change hands, all this Bernie pie in the sky plans ain’t going anywhere. So down ticket might be equally or more important than the top. Moscow Mitch having to be Senate MINORITY leader could be even more effective
