I’m not angry because Russia interfered. I’m angry because there’s a reality TV buffoon pretending to be President. I’d still be angry whether that’s due to Russian interference or idiots who voted for him because they’d seen him on TV.
I don’t care for both sides do it as an argument in other situations, this one either. Maybe make a point about how we were stupid to fall for it when we’ve done it 80 times.
It actually is the leaders of any countries’ job to do whatever they can to make the world better for their citizens. Russia did exactly what they should be doing when it did all they could to weaken the strongest country in the world, and the one which has historically been their enemy, by electing Trump as it’s president. That’s perfectly logical, as is America’s interference in elections which will make the world safer for America. What isn’t acceptable is ANY American’s agreement to allow them to interfere and to work with them in that endeavor. That’s called treason.
Vicar above says we have no right to complain. What a crock! We have every right to complain. Did the citizens of this great nation interfere with other countries’ government? Hell no! It was a-holes in the state dept, etc. What I, and a bunch of patriotic Americans, complain about is the complacency displayed by all those who are just fine it because their guy won. Think this might not be a different story if Hillary had won and it was clear there was ANY level of involvement by a foreign, and clearly hostile government? (No fuzz on that!) This country is objectively in crisis, because a sufficient number of voters fell for the sales pitch of a known (by those with eyes and ears) conman. I have pit in my stomach worried about our future, I have kids, and nieces and nephews, and I want this fixed! Vote, vote, vote!
Had not read Dianne’s post before sending mine. She makes a valid point that our gov’t does it with the best interest of OUR nation in mind (one would hope). So I withdraw the a-holes comment. Other gov’ts doing it to us SHOULD piss you off. And it doesn’t?

Its all part of the never ending game. We do it, they do it, everyone does it. Been that way for all of recorded history.
When we/they get caught, we/they are consumed with faux denial/outrage.
The real victims are the poor schlubs who actually are outraged. Living their lives under a rock and not even aware of it.

Why do anything about Russia trying to interfere with our elections, other governments have tried to interfere in other elections.
Why do anything about a pedophile in the Senate, other congressmen have groped women.
Why do anything about mass shootings, other criminals have guns.
Why all any immigrants in our country, some immigrants are criminals.
Why look in to the Trump administration, other presidents have done something wrong.
What about something that happened 20 years ago? we can’t really look at any of our current issues with so much past history to consider.
