    Amazing how these lashing talons never seem to reach Tarzan’s skin. Or we just don’t see it because the comic strip is in black and white.

    I hope Tarzan feels at least a little guilty about killing a lion with such a magnificent hairdo. And such a long neck. Must be the rare high fashion giraffe-lion. Oh, well. At least Numa gets to go out lookin’ fine!
