When I was drafted, the medics were a Mutt and Jeff pair. One of them examined my ear above my head and the other at about neck level. They “looked into” the ears of about 50 of us in about 10, maybe 15 minutes.
(I was later rejected because of my bad eyes)
Someone needs to get to the bottom of this mystery!
