The most dangerous person I ever arrested had a gun and 9 warrants out for homicide, including for police officers he’ killed at traffic stops. On the same note, I had a backup for a change, and police working alone is a big part of the problem, no partner means increased danger, and a lot of the over-reaction we see today. (Along with the post 9-11 “militarization” of too many departments.)
