Many years ago I was in Beijing on a business trip and had an extra day to go be a tourist. A coworker and I hired a car to take us to the Great Wall. Along the way they had a bunch of tourist stops to try to fleece us. The one I remember the most was a place where a blinking sign said Doctor’s office. A guy in a white lab coat came out and held my coworker’s wrist for a few seconds (I declined) and told her that her ying and yang were out of balance. Fortunately they could write her a prescription and fill it right there. She wisely declined to fill it . . .
