Rose is Rose by Don Wimmer and Pat Brady for June 13, 1996
Transcript:
Pasquale walks into the house complaining, "Momma? I scratched my elbow!" No one answers as Pasquale walks through the house and asks, "Daddy? Hello?" Pasquale looks outside into the garden. As Rose tends to the garden, Pasquale, who finally finds her, yells angrily , "What do I have to do around here to find somebody to cry in front of?!"
I’ve seen that on a number of comic strips…the kid, perfectly calm until he/she finds the mother, and then WHAAAAAAAAAH!
