Joe may be a, or the big dog now, but Bernie and Elizabeth are sizable too and some of the rest of the pack will also grow. Joe’s apparent size may well change after the debates, the other candidates gain some name recognition, the attacks on Joe from the right and unknown developments that the future will bring. Still early times.
Joe made mistakes early in his career, like many a good puppy, but he also was devoted to his masters, the people of this nation, and his show of affection is as real as a faithful, loving, friend. I do think he’s a bit grey around the muzzle to run again, but even then, many times better than the faithless, rabid, cur only a couple years his junior currently fouling the peoples’ house.
Our ancestors who framed The Constitution were wise enough to include minimum ages for eligibility for elected public office. In those days, people very rarely lived past age 70, and one was not likely to make it to 60. I think it may be time to amend The Constitution to include a maximum age for The Presidency, and a limit of one term for any individual who attains that maximum age during their (using the plural pronoun here to avoid the awkward “hers or his” grammatical construction) first term. I would propose a maximum age of service of 66 1/2 upon taking office for the final term.
Yeah, Bernie or Warren. Just what we need. A President with NO FOREIGN POLICY WHATSOEVER to restore our standing in the world that TRUMPOV has destroyed.
I’d agree with much of that, other than your maximum age… I’m 69 and (right now…heh) I’m pretty sure I’ll be Presidentially-competent in terms of physical/mental fitness for another four/five years. So…how about maximum age of 70 at time of taking office? Although, frankly, I’d be suspect of anyone wanting to take on the task at that age without long prior governmental experience.

Is this based on the same polls that predicted Hillary 2016? Somehow, my faith in them has been reduced.
