Well, that’s what you get, Mr. Putin, when you eat beans!

“To bad we have not been drilling here drilling 6 years ago.”Or 12 years ago when a Republican was in the White House.

Harley made his comment about “not been drilling here” 6 years ago. Republicans were in control during most of the Bush Administration. We could have been drilling more way back when. Woulda. Coulda. Maybe shoulda (or not). But didn’t.

If you’re going to give credit to the private drillers for increased production, you should also give them the blame for not doing it sooner. Got to be consistent you know, not just be intellectually stupid and blame Obama for everything.

You think the price went “way up” because of a comment from the President. You’ve never studied economics have you.

So if it was Obama’s actions that kept gas above $3, now that gas is mostly under $3, can we give Obama credit? No, Obama does not set the price of gas up or down. Today the drop was due to the OPEC cartel agreeing not to cut production, possibly to force out the higher cost producers and defend their turf. The point being it is the forces of supply and demand that determine prices, not Obama.

Fortunately the Republicans are not in control or they would be taking full credit for everything oil production related. Vice president Drill Baby Drill would have had herself enshrined by now.
