The fact that such behavior is seen as normal is proof that the system which threw up the orange error is still in effect. There HAVE BEEN times when our legislators actually worked together to reach compromises, understanding that with a compromise EVERYBODY gives up some of what they want in order to get at least something. Completely outside the bounds of current behavior.

The Fat Orange Clown did not cause these cancerous tumors within our system to appear. They have always been there. He just made the conditions that enable them to grow acceptable. We now have a SCOTUS, thinks to him and Moscow Mitch, which will perpetuate them.

We always seek good management but how does anyone who is capable get things done when co-managers are fighting and corrupting the process and the workers are divided? The Talibangelevists are eager to escalate the conflict.

The post-Nixon Republican messaging that a government of the people, by the people, and for the people cannot be trusted as much as a self-serving authoritarian “leader” has influenced a significant portion of the electorate.

Should the Democrats hammer out their differences, as our system should work, it would help step back towards the old normal. Credit Joe Scarborough

Yeah. Who would have thought that, under Trump, an underage teen, carrying an illegal rifle would get away with killing someone? What’s the reason for that teenager’s release? He’s underage.

Sadly, when Fatso LOST THE ELECTION IN 2020, it wasn’t the End of an Error, since he poisoned the entire system SO BADLY that it will take a full generation to finally purge his filth from the Political System.

Trump’s former Russia expert has a message for voters if he runs in 2024

“They voted for President Trump because they mistakenly believed he was going to do something for them. He was going to fix all of the problems, which, frankly, are still festering. Unfortunately, what we saw is that President Trump only intended to do something for himself. He was Trump first, not America first.”

She went on to say that what she hopes people do is not look at it from an ideological perspective because that’s not what he believes in. He believes in Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump doesn’t have any ideology,” she said. “And really, what we’re on the verge of doing now is throwing away a democracy that we have built up over hundreds of years, something that everybody here in the United States values. We’re not red. We’re not blue Americans. We’re Americans. And this is one of those pivotal moments where we all have to stand up and stand together and not tear ourselves apart. And Donald Trump is an incredibly divisive person who is focused just on his own interests.”

Trump advisor told Steve Mnuchin he’d be ‘the reason’ the pandemic would never end: new book

“He felt that the recommendation to shut down the borders was far too severe and the financial impact to our country and the world would be something we would not recover from for years,” the Grisham book revealed. “The discussion got quite heated, especially between the secretary and National Security Advisor O’Brien, who at one point said to Mnuchin, ‘You are going to be the reason this pandemic never goes away.’”

Mnuchin spent his final months in the White House traveling all over the Middle East. Just one month after Trump left office, Mnuchin announced the formation of his new hedge fund, backed by the same Middle Eastern nations he visited in those final months as Trump’s secretary, Forbes reported at the time. As of Sept. 2021, the fund had $2.5 billion.

our system has some unfairness that has grown worse over the years. Madison kind of hints right in the federalist papers that the Senate could become a problem. . .and it has.

the house used to somewhat increase its numbers with increases in population. .. we stopped doing that in the 1920 something. . . time to start adding a few back in

and Puerto Rico and DC have gone long enough without full representation

What’s really pathetic is that even with the help of nevertrumpers, in a field of 17 candidates the opposition had to scrap them all and run a senile old man whom Obama’s Secretary of Defense said "I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,”
