Ruthie sort of grows a conscience…

Naw, a conscience is an urge to do the right thing because it’s it’s the right thing.Ruthie wants to do the right thing out of fear of punishment – that’s not a conscience, that’s just religion.

This is criminal: making a child feel guilty towards a nonexistent spirit in the sky. She is an innocent victim of dysfunctional propaganda. Why not teach children morality based on reality; do what’s right because it will keep your integrity intact.

Roman 7, Paul tells us that he is conflicted by sins he commits and struggles with life, but is motivated by Jesus Christ to serve God, not sin.

Have you guys tried laughing at the ingenuous dishonesty instead of tearing into each other?

It’s sad that cartoonists that have a public forum use it to promote child abuse. Forcing children to ‘pray’ to one of the 3400 gods in use to control minds is abuse. BTW, which god is preying on her family? There’s 42,000 religious sects, each with their own ‘truth’. Which one is abusing Ruthie?

It’s a little early, but I’ll say this anyway, “God bless us, everyone!” :)

It would be nice if people did the right thing just because it is the right thing to do. That is the way I live. Ruthie knows she did the wrong thing.
