    I do this all the time with my dog. She never catches anything, then I call her worthless in a happy voice. She doesn’t know the difference, but she’s happy. Built up the drama, then told her how great of a hunter she is, then she chased squirrels, bunnies, birds, lizards…. AND got called worthless in a happy voice, life is good for dogs. (and she got to take along nap afterward)
