Harley, I find your posts interesting. After I peel my palm off my face and stop hitting my head on the desk after reading your comments, I see that they offer some insight into a Tea Party-type’s mind.
For example, you said, “But I do not believe that man’s working with CO2 is a sin worthy of chasting and bankruptcy.”
I suspect that many conservatives who are “deniers” of AGW are such b/c of the reasons you offered. They fear that if mankind IS causing this change that we will then have to live in the stone age, and so they must NOT believe in it. But that isn’t the case. A few well placed investments, some simple policy changes, some incentives here and there, and we could make some profound changes with minimal change in lifestyle.
As for death panels, THERE ARE NONE. If you still believe in them, offer some evidence.
