June? Really, Marcy?
Make a note of it on your phone’s calendars.
See if you can last two days.
“That’s when I’m scheduled to take my iPhone in for servicing and cleaning.”
And just watch how it’s long forgotten by June.
People are forgetting how to communicate unless it’s on a screen. I’ve seen parents with little children completely ignoring what their kids are doing because they’re messing around on their phones. It’s sad. One day they’re going to look up just in time to see their adult kids going out the door to live their lives and wonder where the time went.
I like to use the full screen computer in our office while my husband is usually on his laptop in the kitchen. Rather than shout through the house, we send electronic messages. And joke (silently) back and forth on each others’ FB posts. Our friends always ask, “Are you guys in the same room/house?” Actually, I like it….the house remains nice and quiet and we can talk about where to go out for lunch.
Would he complain if she were reading a book and he was reading a newspaper?
Husband loves playing bubble game on the computer after he read his selective comics. For me read comics for entertainment. My daughter no fb for her as some people she is not interested in.
“People on phones these days… I swear, twenty years from now nobody will know how to talk face-to-face!”
(When is this being said: 2019, or 1959?)
Do not come between me and my Kindle during my “alone time”…
The twitter and Facebook icons were needed. Otherwise it looked like they were drinking milk
