Nixon, for all his faults, stepped down when it became obvious he would be convicted by the Senate. He also opened relations with mainland China and was president when the EPA and significant environmental legislations were initially crafted.

I’m seeing this kind of thing a lot, but it is worth remembering that we know that Nixon undercut LBJ’s Vietnam peace efforts, which were close to success, in order to get himself into office, and by this act extended it at least seven more years, as well as allowing for the “secret” bombing of Cambodia that was only secret to the American people.

Nixon was a deliberately evil manipulator of world events for personal benefit. #45 is a just a petty con man in the hands of foreign powers and willing to do anything for money and to protect himself from being convicted of his many crimes – including sedition and treason.
