I’m thankful for political cartoonists, like Mr. Heller, who, while often biting and incisive, anchor their commentary in reality. (Unlike a number of his contemporaries on this site.) Thanks!
There is no reason to think there is a god.If there is a god, who made HIM?If god has always been there, why can’t we accept that the universe has always been there and skip the god part?
William of Occam, a Franciscan Friar (English) gave us to the tool we need to understand whether a god exists. I sincerely doubt that he ever USED his “razor” to think about theism, but I HAVE. And the simplest explanation needs no god. Of course, if YOU need a god, feel free to have at it. Just don’t expect me to fall in line with your choices.
May the God of your choice bless you. And remember all of those who got us here because quite a few of them were not only here first but managed to save the sorry butts of those who arrived full of religion, faith, and hope but lacking severely in common sense and necessary skills.

I had dinner with some people I care about. It is not the food nor the table which make a feast, it is the people you share it with,
