People aren’t the only slobs. Every critter pretty much leaves whatever they’re done with right where they’re done with it. The difference is that there are so many more people … and they have so much more stuff that they get done with. And of course, an awful lot of that stuff stays around far too long and gets itself stuck in all kinds of problematic places. Bottom line: Too damn many people. Not that I’m volunteering to help with that…
PS: Yes, many animals (birds, pigs, cats, apes) do avoid pooping where they eat, but I’m not talking about that part.
