We’ve been sold down down river before and will be sold down the dlriver again… Probably anytime that the Republicans hold a majority in the three branches of our government. Citizens one was a ruling that must have been paid for with an outrageously large sum of moolah. Only big corporations wanting to buy government officials would have come up with the idea that corporations are a single entity, that corporations can be considered to be one person when making humongous donations to political campaigns. I wonder how much money that judgment cost the big corporations ?upfront or afterwards?
I agree w/ the sentiment, but the facts are that people and countries have been bough in the past, are being bought as we view this, and it won’t change in the future. Are you a wage earner? Your time is bought and paid for. Remember the Louisiana Purchase?
