Inflation jokes are getting old. I live in Europe and payed 6 euros for a dozen eggs last week. (That’s about 7% more than $6 today.) They are large (that is really large not “Large”) and from what might be called local Eco farm in the U.S. I eat one for breakfast most days and the price isn’t killing me.
World wide prices went up because fuel prices went up a lot in a short time. Add to that the extra money from the Covid related checks sent to everyone in the U.S. Those checks (remember — the ones Trump delayed so he could get his signature on them?) helped keep the economy from crashing but also helped make the inflation possible. Which would you rather have, bread lines or more expensive bread?
If you can afford to be reading this you maybe shouldn’t be complaining.
