Bixby: Yeah, y'know, when I've got no work to do. fritz: Well, ideally you're spending your "Down time" trying to make yourself and your work space more productive and efficient! bixby: hmm...I can't seem to find the job code for "the world of imagination"...
Man, I hated job codes. They were tried for a while where I used to work, and they were a colossal waste of time. Especially when you had to account for 15 minute intervals. And the codes HAD to match your work exactly. If they didn’t, you were supposed to go to HR (where they always seemed to be on a break) and have them create a new code. Eventually they created “other work as assigned” and everybody used that. They finally dropped the codes – thank goodness!
