Captain Victory: In the old days, you could grab a crook off the street and throw him in jail yourself! But nowadays it's all "Due Process" this and "Habeas Corpus" that! I've got to read people their rights! It's ridiculous! Ralston: Well, how would you rfeel if someone swooped you up and threw you in jail without the chance to defend yourself? Captain Victory: I'd just bend open the bars! Ralston: Well, what if they were nucleotronic or something, and you couldn't? Captain Victory: Hmmm...I think I see what you are saying. As long as I can stay away from these "nucleotronica bars," I can escape accountability! Ralston: I think you're missing the point of this whole "justice system" concept here... Captain Victory: "Don't get caught"! I get it! I get it!
Cap, unless you’re a law enforcement officer, then you don’t have to read anyone their rights. As a superhero (or just a hero, in some cases), you can still swoop up any ol’ criminal and drop them unceremoniously on the front steps of the police station. Let them deal with procedure.
