There’s always next year.

Will be still be wearing the same shirt next year?

Were they even listening? You could always give them the reward of helping up pack up the room for summer if they finish their work.

As a former teacher, I can tell you that the last week of school is a wash. I would go through the motions, but knew very little—if any—learning was taking place.

I doubt they even paid attention, they have visions of summer fun dancing in their heads.

Locally Friday is V-Day. As I remember,most of this week will be spent turning in books, clearing lockers, signing each other’s yearbooks and relaxing in the classrooms.
