Hippo is a trigger word with me. All I see is that girl Hippo in a Tutu!

Is Rob surprised that he does not understand Bucky? I would be worried about him if he did.

I have lived in Durham for 43 years and I believe that was dog, not cat that was found in the freezer. It seems to me that the owner said it was for the chef’s private use.

I’ve always wondered how the limey ‘whinging’ is pronounced, compared to the infinitely more understandable usanian ‘whining’

Cool. I haven’t heard “whinging” in a while. Use to be more common when I was a kid in the northeast.
