My alarm clock broke. So I put up a Google unit that I just ask what time it is. I sleep better. It seems the red lettering on the alarm clock was still bright enough to disrupt my sleep.

I’m a bit surprised that the quest for some decent liquor hasn’t been more a part of the last year and a half in the strip. I suppose the syndicate (cartoon syndicate/Tribune) might have discouraged King on grounds of ‘morality’.
80: It’s going to be hard for Skeex to get into trouble on this day, with all the women in his life there to keep an eye on each other.
75: I’m not sure about the ‘wink and nod’ deal with Chigger, but if Wilmer could get a kickback from the paint dealer – does anyone think that money would go anywhere other than into Bobble’s pocket? A definite problem is clear on the horizon, I’d say.

Back in the 70s I often went to junkyards to keep my car on the road. It was a relaxing afternoon, and I often kept looking after I’d found the parts I needed. When my own children were driving I was disappointed that most yards won’t let you in. Many won’t even sell parts, they are only crushing cars for the scrap value.
